ICC has announced Test, ODI, T20 team 0f the decade 2010-2020. Some undeserving names are added to the team and there is not a single PAKISTANI in any of the team which is quite shocking.

Test Team of the Decade:

Alastair Cook, David Warner, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli(C), Steve Smith, Kumar Sangakkara, ben stokes, Ravi Ashwin, Dale Steyn, Stuart Broad, James Anderson.

4 English players, 2 Australian players, 2 Indian players, and one each from Sri Lanka, South Africa & New Zealand.

Well looks like a very strong team especially if we talk about the batting lineup, they can bat for even one week. also, the fast bowlers they added are richly deserved. As we know Dale Steyn, Broad and Anderson are the best fast bowlers of this decade.

There’s only one objection in this team that is they didn’t add YOUNIS KHAN who deserved more than the few names mentioned in the team.  Here are stats of Younis Khan:

Younis Khan in Tests from 2010-2017

Younis Khan in Tests from 2010-2017

Matches Played: 56, Runs Scored: 4839, Average: 54.37, Hundreds: 18, Highest Score: 248

Younis Khan was the deserving player in this team.

ODI TEAM OF THE DECADE:

Rohit Sharma, David Warner, Virat Kohli, AB DE Villiers, Shakib Al Hassan, MS Dhoni(C), Ben Stokes, Mitchell Starc, Trent boult, Imran Tahir, Lasith Malinga

Well, to be honest, this is a very fair team, only Bumrah in place of Boult would have been a little better and maybe Sangakkara in place of MS Dhoni but MS Dhoni being a World Cup Winning captain took the place.

T20 TEAM OF THE DECADE:

Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, AB DE Villiers, Glen Maxwell, MS Dhoni(C), K Pollard, Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga

Four Indians, Two West Indians, Two Australians, one each from Sri Lanka, South Africa, Afghanistan

This team is shocking. MS Dhoni as a captain in the team, AB DE Villiers, Rashid khan, Glen Maxwell these is shocking picks. And more shocking thing is that there are only Three proper bowlers in the team with two part-timers, so how would you ball complete twenty overs. The batting looks strong but it’s unfair with BABAR AZAM who couldn’t make it to this team despite being the number one for more than two years and one of the most consistent performers with the bat. He had better Stats as compared to AB DE Villiers. ABD just had an avg of 26 so he wasn’t the deserving player for this team.

Also, how can they forget Umer Gul? He is still No.1 in ICC T20 RANKINGS of all time. They have selected Rashid Khan who hasn’t too many good performances against the top teams. This was a shocking decision.

Rashid Latif, Ex Pakistani Cricketer called it IPL XI of the decade says it was a typo error, ICC forgot to write IPL XI of the decade.

Also, Shoaib Akhtar thinks the same thing, for him this team is incomplete without Babar Azam. says:

“ICC has destroyed the value of international cricket. Is there someone currently in the world cricket who can compete with Babar Azam in T20i? Why there is no Babar Azam there? ICC could have told us earlier that their main concern is only with money than professional cricket. They announced the IPL team of a decade instead of an international team of a decade. They could have told us that they are the only sponsor of Indian cricket so that other teams could have stopped playing cricket. ICC has messed up everything, you can take the example of this by seeing how cricket is dying in Europe.”
